Description
Milk Thistle has been traditionally used to support, maintain and protect liver function. Improves liver function and speeds up the regeneration of liver cells. It can be used where liver damage is due to excess worm burden. Use in the spring as a tonic.
It has various other common names including blessed milk thistle, Marian thistle, Mary thistle, Saint Mary’s thistle, Mediterranean milk thistle, variegated thistle and Scotch thistle (though not to be confused with Onopordum acanthium or Cirsium vulgare).
